CAS1000 Ether audio Router is an innovative network audio device using CobraNet™ protocol to transmit and switch multi-channels of high quality audio signals (48KHz, 24bit) over standard Ethernet network using low-cost Cat 5 cables or optical fiber. There are maximum 16 channels of input/output on the CAS1000 Ether audio Router.  All audio I/O interface are modular design and there are 2 channels of either inputs or outputs on each I/O module.

CAS1000 Ether audio Route equip with 2 100Mbps network interface ports (RJ45 or FC optical fiber connectors) for transmission and reception of audio signals to and from the audio network. The network ports are redundant to each other. Standard Ethernet Cat 5 cable can be used for transmission within 100 meters and optical fiber cable can be used for transmission further than 100 meters. Transmission distance using optical fiber cable can be tens of KM (maximum 2KM for multi mode and 60KM for single mode optical fiber cables).

Redundant power supply is optional on CAS1000 Ether-audio Router to ensure system reliability.
